ABOUT
Traditional Learning Academy is a Catholic school located in Coquitlam, founded by the Traditional Learning Society of BC in 1991. The school provides a structured program of studies in the Catholic tradition for students in kindergarten through grade twelve. TLA encourages the pursuit of academic excellence, promotes the fine and performing arts, fosters sound character development, and has a setting in which all students may grow in wisdom and knowledge, while deepening their love of God and neighbour.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Traditional Learning Academy, Coquitlam, is accepting applications for a full–time Elementary Generalist (Grade Five)/High School Religion Teacher commencing September 1, 2026. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering the established program of studies to students according to the BC Curriculum, while upholding the standards & guidelines established by the school, participating/supporting in some form the extra-curricular activities of the school, and supervising students during non-classroom time. He or she must be capable of teaching the Catholic religion, and be in possession of valid BC Teaching certification, or eligible to apply for a subject or school restricted certificate, or a Letter of Permission.
