Position: Licensed Part-Time Technician (Seasonal)

Location: Halifax, NS

Job Type: Part-time (***WEEKENDS ONLY), Seasonal

Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Saturday and Sunday)

The Role: Your Mission

You’ll be the hero homeowners call when unwanted guests show up uninvited. Think problem solver, detective, and customer-favorite all rolled into one.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect homes inside and out to identify pests, entry points, and infestations
• Diagnose pest issues and apply effective treatments
• Complete service reports for work performed and products used
• Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions
• Educate homeowners and recommend solutions to prevent future pest issues
• Build strong relationships with customers while representing Insight professionally

Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs of equipment
• Comfortable working in different environments (crawl spaces, damp or dusty spots)
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good people skills
• Applicants must posses a Pesticide Applicator License
• Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a solid team

Important: Only candidates who possess a Pesticide Applicator License will be considered.
