Associate Veterinarian (DVM)
Calgary, Alberta Salary: $110,000 to $140,000
An established, locally owned small animal practice in Calgary is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its experienced and collaborative team. Serving the community for more than 25 years, the hospital has built a loyal client base and a strong reputation for high quality, compassionate care.
This full-service companion animal hospital provides wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, pain management, nutritional counselling, senior pet care, urgent appointments and end of life services. The practice is committed to investing in modern equipment and continuing education, giving its team the resources to deliver excellent patient care.
You will be joining a team of experienced veterinarians supported by skilled Registered Veterinary Technologists, veterinary assistants and client care professionals. The practice promotes collaboration, mentorship and open communication, creating an environment where veterinarians can continue to develop their skills while working through a varied medical and surgical caseload. Located in one of Calgary's desirable inner-city neighborhoods, the hospital is just minutes from downtown, the Bow River pathway system and Prince's Island Park. The area offers excellent cafés, restaurants, shopping and easy access to the Rocky Mountains for weekend adventures.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent Eligible for a full license to practise veterinary medicine in Ontario Strong surgical and dental skills Excellent communication and client relationship skills A collaborative approach and commitment to high quality companion animal medicine
Compensation and Benefits
