About the role
Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative, operational, and customer support to the sales function, helping drive efficient execution across customer onboarding, RFQs, bids, presentations, reporting, and day-to-day account support activities.
This role is ideal for a highly detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, and can effectively support both customer-facing and internal commercial initiatives.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, QA/Regulatory, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support customer requirements and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Support Support the sales team with day-to-day administrative and coordination activities Prepare and submit RFQs, bids, pricing requests, and customer documentation Assist in preparing customer presentations, proposals, reports, and sales materials Coordinate customer onboarding documentation and account setup activities Maintain and organize customer files, contracts, specifications, and correspondence Track sales opportunities, customer requests, and follow-up actions to ensure timely completion
Customer & Account Support
Serve as a point of contact for customer requests, documentation needs, and administrative inquiries Coordinate sample requests, product information, specifications, and supporting materials Assist with customer portals, vendor forms, and compliance documentation submissions Help manage calendars, meetings, and communications related to customer accounts
Cross-Functional Coordination
Liaise with Operations, Procurement, QA/Regulatory, Finance, and Logistics teams to gather information required for customers andbids Coordinate internal follow-ups to ensure deadlines and customer commitments are met Support trade shows, customer meetings, and special projects as required
Reporting & Organization
Maintain accurate sales records, trackers, and reporting dashboards Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and KPI tracking Help improve administrative processes and organization within the sales function
Executive
SupportProvide occasional administrative support to executive leadership related to commercial activities Assist with scheduling, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and follow-up items as required
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a sales coordination, sales support, customer service, or administratve role Experience within food manufacturing, CPG, retail, distribution, or related industries is consideredan asset Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience managing RFQs, bids, customer portals, or sales documentation preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment Professional, proactive, customer-service oriented and continuous learning mindset
