Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with the ability to work efficiently on various projects including restoration, renovation, and new construction. This role requires a proactive individual capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics, operating power tools and heavy equipment, and performing precise finishing work to ensure high-quality results.

Duties

• Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes.
• Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring.
• Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as concrete placement and material handling.
• Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and restoration projects as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately.
• Assist with concrete forming, welding, carpentry, and other related construction activities.
• Conduct site cleanup and ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of work.
• Collaborate with team members on renovation projects requiring masonry, concrete finishing, or structural repairs.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for construction sites while maintaining safety standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction trades such as masonry or restoration.
• Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in concrete work including hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete forming, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, welding, and flooring installation is preferred.
• Prior experience with caulking, renovation projects, or flooring installation is a plus.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting while maintaining proper technique. Candidates should demonstrate excellent craftsmanship in concrete finishing along with the versatility to support various aspects of construction projects. Pay: $22.23-$40.27 per hour
