About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to transport aggregates, soil, asphalt, and other construction materials to and from job sites. The driver will operate a tri-axle dump truck, ensuring loads are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a dump truck to haul materials to and from construction sites, quarries, and disposal locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
- Load, transport, and unload materials safely while maintaining proper weight distribution.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and site safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch, site supervisors, and equipment operators to coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours, loads, mileage, and delivery documentation.
- Keep the truck clean and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with basic truck maintenance and ensure compliance with safety inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ or DZ driver?s license (or applicable commercial license).
- Clean driver?s abstract and proven safe driving record.
- Previous experience operating tri-axle or dump trucks preferred.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and hauling procedures.
- Ability to work long hours during peak construction season.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.

Working Conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Heavy Truck: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Air Brake Endorsement (required)
