Position Overview
As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in representing CJ Logistics at industry events, managing the RFP process, and executing lead-generating activities focused on sales (mainly warehouse and transportation management), while also cross-selling our diverse service channels (i.e. FF, VAS, etc.). You will be part of a team of Sales Executives, driving new business, nurturing key client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, customer-centric proposals. The ideal candidate will also possess a deep understanding of the logistics industry (including a strong
network of contacts and potential customers), excellent sales skills, and a passion for delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for WM and TM sales to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Actively promote and cross-sell additional service channels (WM, TM, FF, VAS) to existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements, demonstrating the value of our services.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to management on progress against goals and market insights.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a client-facing role or account management, with demonstrated success in sales leadership.
- Proven experience selling engagements valued at $5 million or more annually.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage across vertical and horizontal levels within organizations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted assignments.
- Problem-solving skills with an aptitude for identifying strategic solutions to enterprise-wide challenges.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales process management tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc…).
- Demonstrated ability to engage and establish credibility with customer management at multiple levels in discussions to explore, understand and document their goals, priorities and challenges (voice of the customer).
- Demonstrated proficiency and 5+ years with a successful track record in utilizing strategic/solution selling skills to navigate complex, long lead time sales cycles to grow existing business.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Pay : $80k-90k

Physical Requirements
This is largely a sedentary role requiring the physical ability to:
- Sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk while working on a computer
- Use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and telephone
- Speak and hear clearly in person, virtually, and over the phone
- Occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level and is climate-controlled.
Location/Remote Eligibility
The role will be performed in an on-site work setting.
Travel as required to support customer meetings, territory coverage, or company events (estimated up to 25–40%, depending on territory).
Schedule
Flexible hours may be required to support after-hours, weekends, and holidays support when needed.
