About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor is primarily responsible for providing leadership to a high-performing team, coordinating and planning daily operations, as well as the human and material resources required for warehouse activities. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the implementation and maintenance of occupational health and safety policies and the achievement of high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent standards in daily operational quality service related to the receiving, shipping, and logistics management of tires
- Establish and meet operational objectives on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Continuously adjust work priorities based on operational needs, last-minute requests, or unforeseen situations
- Proactively improve operational processes to achieve higher levels of efficiency and evaluate their performance
- Ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintain high health and safety standards
- Act as an ambassador of high standards by enforcing policies and promoting company values among employees
- Support the development of warehouse employees
Success Factors

Professional background: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution center, including supervisory experience, enabling effective team leadership and confident daily operations management

Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel, allowing the development of effective tools to track and gain better visibility over operations

Territory expertise: Valid driver’s licence and strong familiarity with the road networks in the Vaughan region and surrounding areas to optimize routing and planning efficiency

Interest in health: Commitment to health and safety, with willingness to support the team and assist with physical tasks when required

Leadership: Naturally motivated, hardworking, and resourceful; customer-oriented with strong time management and logistics skills, demonstrating suitability for the role
