We have an opportunity on our Operations Team for a part-time Bus Driver (position profile can be found here).

This role will commence on August 31, 2026, and will be a part-time role with a consistent daily schedule from Monday through Friday, with a 2:30-5:30 pm start time when school is in session, September through June.

Aberdeen Hall provides

• Competitive Compensation at an hourly rate of $26 to $30, inclusive of vacation pay and commensurate with experience
• We offer 8% vacation pay, twice the standard 4% rate

**Position Summary **

As a Part-Time School Bus Driver, you serve as a vital ambassador for Aberdeen Hall and a key connection between our families and the school day.

This position focuses on providing safe, reliable, and punctual student transportation, including daily afternoon routes, field trips, and athletic events, while establishing a welcoming and orderly environment for our students.

The successful candidate is a polished professional who takes pride in fleet safety, prioritizes student well-being above all else, and models the school’s core values in all interactions with students, staff, and families.

Success factors

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience operating buses or passenger-directed commercial vehicles
• Valid BC Class 2 Commercial Driver’s License with an active Air Brake Endorsement.
• Previous experience working with or driving children and youth, with a natural ability to create a safe, positive, and respectful bus environment.
• A clean driving record (Valid BC Class 2 license with a clean ICBC commercial driving abstract).
• Valid WHMIS Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Cleared BC Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check)
• Valid Basic First Aid certificate with CPR Level C.
• Strong organization, punctual time management, and sharp attention to detail.
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude with an understanding of school community dynamics.
