Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Hourly Rate: $29.62 per hour Location: Kelowna, British Columbia Door Systems is Hiring! Are you looking to build a long-term career with a growing company? Door Systems is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kelowna. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our operations by receiving and organizing inventory, preparing customer orders, building torsion springs, and maintaining an efficient warehouse. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with their hands.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare outbound shipments and transfers across Canada.
• Build and assemble torsion springs using specialized equipment and a torch (training provided).
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely (training and certification provided).
• Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
• Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complete.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for service and installation crews.
• Keep warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Load and unload trucks and deliveries.
• Assist with general warehouse operations and branch support as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and team development activities.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Trades, construction, mechanical, or manufacturing experience considered a strong asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience using power tools.
• Forklift experience is an asset; certification will be provided.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Working Conditions
