If so, this opportunity may be for you! We are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our client's leadership team and drive their next phase of growth across the North American market.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Commercial Manager is a key leadership role responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy across the nutraceutical and dietary supplement space. You will lead a team of 2–3 direct reports, overseeing sales, marketing, and business development functions while aligning commercial initiatives with broader business objectives. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on driving revenue, building lasting customer relationships, and shaping the future direction of a growing organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execution of the company's North American commercial strategy, setting clear KPIs and aligning goals with overall business direction Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance sales team to expand market share and consistently meet revenue targets Develop pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and negotiate customer-related commercial contracts across all product categories Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to build a robust project pipeline, while overseeing market research to uncover new business opportunities Represent the company at key industry trade shows, conferences, and events to strengthen market presence Oversee key account relationships to ensure long-term loyalty and customer satisfaction, championing customer-centric initiatives and feedback loops Collaborate with the product development team to drive market-informed innovation and lead new product commercialization from concept to launch Lead budget creation, manage commercial expenditures, and oversee monthly demand planning as part of a global S&OP process Provide regular reporting on KPIs, revenue performance, and market results to local and global leadership Set objectives for and support the professional development of direct reports, including the Key Accounts Manager and Business Development Manager
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership within nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or health & wellness CPG industries Proven track record of driving revenue growth, business development, and sales expansion Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop teams Deep understanding of the nutraceuticals market, including trends, consumer behaviour, and regulatory requirements Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound strategic decisions
Base Salary: ~$135,000-155,000 CAD (to commensurate with experience)
