Transaction Banking technology team focuses on delivering top-tier technology solutions to enable and grow the global GTB business.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Developer to design, develop, and support next-generation transaction banking and ledger platforms. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture while contributing to the modernization of enterprise banking solutions. Experience with Camunda and/or FluxNova workflow orchestration platforms is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. The role requires collaboration with architects, business analysts, quality engineering teams, and platform teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.

Responsibilities:-

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies. Build scalable microservices and APIs that support transaction processing, workflow orchestration, ledger, liquidity, and payments capabilities. Develop highly available and performant solutions following cloud-native design principles. Participate in system design, technical architecture reviews, and code reviews. Design and implement complex business workflows using Camunda or FluxNova. Integrate workflow engines with downstream and upstream applications through REST APIs, messaging, and event-driven patterns Build integrations using REST, Kafka, asynchronous messaging, and batch frameworks. Develop data processing and reconciliation capabilities leveraging relational databases and event streams.

Ensure data integrity, security, and auditability across systems

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation. Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift. Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using enterprise tools. Extensive experience using GitHub and Bitbucket for source control, branching strategies, and code reviews. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and the ability to lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Proven experience delivering large-scale mission-critical applications. Expert knowledge of the technical environment/ tools (e.g., user environment, applications, software, hardware, programming languages and operating systems) in own area Experience in financial services, banking, payments, or treasury platforms is highly desirable.
