As a Transcriptionist Team Lead, you play a critical role behind the scenes of patient care—ensuring clinical reports are accurate, timely, and support strong outcomes across Lifemark’s rehabilitation programs. You’ll lead a team of transcriptionists who work independently, while fostering connection, consistency, and quality across a highly collaborative clinical network.

How You’ll Lead & Contribute
Lead and support a team of transcriptionists, fostering accountability, quality, and collaboration Transcribe and edit medical and rehabilitation reports with a high degree of accuracy Ensure reports meet program requirements for WCB, and other referral streams Coordinate workflow, prioritize assignments, and manage turnaround times Collaborate with clinicians and program teams to clarify dictation and ensure completeness Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members Contribute to continuous improvement in transcription processes and quality standards
What You Bring
Completion of a recognized Medical Transcription program
2+ years of transcription experience (rehabilitation, medical, or diagnostic imaging preferred) Previous experience in a team lead or mentorship capacity is an asset Exceptional grammar, editing, and attention to detail Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and report structure Ability to manage high volumes of work with accuracy and efficiency Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment Must be based in Alberta with a reliable home office setup
