Our litigation team handles a diverse range of matters including General Law, Contractual Disputes, Estates, Judgement Enforcement, Insurance Claims, Liability, Negligence, Employment, and Personal Injury.

Position Overview:

This role offers immediate file carriage with support from senior Lawyers. The successful candidate will manage a varied litigation practice, with regular exposure to chambers applications, questionings, and court appearances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and participate in mediations and pre-trial conferences

• Represent clients in chambers applications and court proceedings

• Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.

• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:

• Juris doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
• 2+ years with strong litigation exposure.
• Strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
