About the role
Job Summary Provide administrative support to legal teams to ensure accurate, timely handling of files and client matters. Prepare and organize legal documents, manage schedules, and coordinate filings for court and regulatory processes. Number of Positions 5 Main Duties Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and court forms according to procedural requirements. Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, ensuring documents are correctly indexed and readily accessible. Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances and manage deadlines and calendars for legal staff. Coordinate electronic and in-person court filings, courier deliveries, and liaison with court clerks and external parties as required. Assist with legal research, assemble evidence and exhibits, and prepare trial and hearing materials. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and third parties to gather information, provide status updates, and arrange documentation. Requirements Post-secondary diploma or certificate in legal administrative studies, paralegal studies, office administration, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a legal office or supporting legal professionals. Working knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with legal practice management or electronic filing systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional conduct.
