The Senior Director FP&A is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function within an organization, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. Develops strategic financial plans, analyzes financial data, and provides insights to senior management to support decision-making. Your role in achieving resultats: Develop tools and standards across the organization to produce quality information relevant to decision-making. (KPI) Develop consolidated short- and long-term budgets and financial forecasts to guide strategic decisions. Develop a dashboard for senior management, including results, trends, forecasts, industry benchmarking and profitability analyses. Work closely with other departments to ensure that financial forecasts are consistent with the company's business objectives. Supervise the work of employees in his/her department. Lead the category budgeting process, ensuring accuracy of projections and alignment with market trends, sales performance, and operational factors. Lead the long-term financial planning process, partnering with key stakeholders across categories, business teams, and internal finance teams, integrating strategic initiatives, investment priorities, and macroeconomic factors. Perform advanced and scenario-based modeling for new products and initiatives to assess financial risks, opportunities, and guide strategic/investment decision-making (longer-term). Assist in the preparation of reports for the Board of Directors, providing support for the final preparation of all internal (longer-term) financial presentations. Lead a high-performing FP&A team, maintaining the right mix of skills within the team, including talent management, performance, and development. Support processes during business reviews and stakeholder communications, including collaboration across the organization to capture progress against the revenue plan, key updates on priorities, risks, and identification of opportunities. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, hiring, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action, and compensation recommendations. Direct implementation of departmental objectives, goals and policies. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and guidelines. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Safety Protocol Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. What we are looking for to deliver these resultats: Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Experience Required: Minimum twenty (20) years of experience, including more than ten (10) years in team management, required. Having established a successful FP&A team. Experience in a public company an asset. Certification/Licensure Required: CPA as an asset. Skills Required: Ability to challenge the organization's senior leaders while remaining a business partner. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to meet deadlines. The function includes the management of a team of BI analysts, artificial intelligence, budget and financial forecasting as well as the center of excellence which includes milk payment, costing and financial analysis.
