We're looking for an experienced Head of Media & Digital Commerce Strategy to lead the digital commerce vision for a global consumer goods organisation. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity where you'll define enterprise-wide media strategy, digital commerce frameworks and platform partnerships that drive business growth across Canada.
The Opportunity
As the strategic lead for Digital Commerce and Media, you'll design the operating model that enables brands and commercial teams to accelerate online growth. Working across Marketing, Sales, Analytics and agency partners, you'll establish best-in-class governance, performance measurement and investment strategies while influencing senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the enterprise digital commerce and media strategy. Define full-funnel media, retail media and digital commerce frameworks. Build strategic partnerships with platforms including Amazon Ads, Google and Meta. Lead agency governance, performance management and integrated planning. Establish KPI frameworks, reporting and measurement strategies. Drive digital shelf excellence, SEO, content optimisation and commerce performance. Partner with commercial, analytics and sales teams to maximise digital growth. Build capability across the organisation through tools, playbooks and training.
About You
You'll be a commercially minded digital leader with extensive experience driving media, eCommerce and omnichannel growth within a large consumer-focused business.
You'll ideally have:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics or a related discipline (MBA preferred). 10+ years' experience in digital commerce, media strategy, retail media or omnichannel leadership. Strong expertise across retail media, search, digital marketing and eCommerce. Experience building scalable operating models and governance frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management and executive influencing skills. Experience within FMCG, consumer health, retail or consumer goods environments. Strong analytical capabilities with experience translating performance data into commercial decisions.
