Job Summary We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Local Truck Driver to join our team for local deliveries and transfers within Kingsville & Leamington.

Responsibilities

• Operate24' stake/straight trucks to transport freight within designated local routes efficiently and safely
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries
• Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered

Experience

• Valid Ontario driver?s licence (D licence preferred)
• Clean driver?s abstract
• Experience driving straight trucks and/or commercial vehicles considered an asset
• Ability to lift and move product when required
• Dependable, punctual, and organized
• Agricultural or greenhouse experience is an asset, but not required

Pay: $25.00 per hour
