We are seeking an exceptional early childhood educator who excels in working
with children aged 3 to 5 years old. This role is part of a collaborative teaching team within our ECE Centre, supporting the positive growth and development of young girls in a nurturing, play-based environment. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and innovative school community that values personal excellence, whole-child development, and overall wellness.
In this position, you will provide support to a team of Junior Kindergarten
teachers and students within the school day, as well as lead our after-school care program for our young learners. It offers an excellent opportunity to build essential skills and gain valuable experience, ideal for educators looking to grow and thrive in their careers. You’ll enjoy working with motivated students, engaging in enriching professional development, and collaborating with inspirational colleagues and supportive families.
This is a one year position to cover a leave of absence.
Hours of work: 9:45am - 5:45pm daily
Responsibilities

Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team of early childhood educators

Support ECE students in a variety of activities that facilitate a play-based approach to learning

Support individual children as required

Plan and implement an after school care program for young girls

Supervise children at lunch and at play outside

Take initiative to seek out tasks

Prepare instructional materials and classroom visual displays

Ensure space is set-up for learning and left clean and organized

Participate in school events such as Sports Day and ECE concerts
Qualifications
-
Early Childhood Educator Certificate or Diploma
-
Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator an asset

Awareness of the learning styles of young girls

Proven ability to work collaboratively

Capacity to be creative, flexible, and patient

Strong communication skills

Dedicated attention to the care and safety of young children

Commitment to the integration of school routines and learning in a childcare setting

Highly organised with attention to detail
Employment and Application Details
This role starts on August 31, 2026.
Compensation: Annual salary $50,000 - $52,000
