The Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design (TISED) is searching for eligible candidates as Teaching Assistants for the Fall 2026 term.

Courses include:

SEAD 500 – Foundations of Sustainability for Engineering and Design (80 hours)

SEAD 510 – Energy Analysis (110 hours)

SEAD 515 - Climate Change Adaptation and Engineering Infrastructure (75 hours)

SEAD 520 - Introduction to Life Cycle-Based Environmental Footprinting (110 hours or 2 x 55 hours)

SEAD 540 – Industrial Economy (100 hours)

SEAD 660 – Strategies for Sustainability (60 hours)

SEAD 670 – Collaborative Design for Sustainability (100 hours, or 2 x 50 hours)

Note: Number of hours and/or positions might change based on enrollment.

Position Summary:
Assisting instructor of the course with instruction and evaluation of students.

Qualifications:

In accordance with the specific needs of the course. Proficiency in English required as assessed by the instructor.
