Our client is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate assets and drive long-term value creation. This role is responsible for developing and executing asset strategies, optimizing portfolio performance, and identifying revenue-generating opportunities across the portfolio.

Working closely with property management, leasing, finance, development, and investment teams, the successful candidate will lead initiatives that enhance asset value, improve financial performance, and support strategic portfolio decisions.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director, the Asset Manager is responsible for the financial and operational performance of a real estate portfolio. This individual will develop and execute leasing strategies, review asset performance, oversee budgets and capital projects, and support acquisition and disposition initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders to identify value-add opportunities and ensure successful execution of asset plans. The successful candidate will play a key role in reporting, due diligence, and strategic decision-making across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement leasing and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and asset value. Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend enhancements to asset plans. Review financial results, operating budgets, and capital expenditure proposals. Identify and execute value-add initiatives that improve portfolio performance. Support disposition, due diligence, and strategic planning activities. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives. Ensure compliance with lender, municipal, and regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate

University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate management. MBA or CFA designation considered an asset. Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and portfolio management skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual, English and French is required.
