Vérifie le traitement tarifaire au niveau B-3 afin de déterminer si le traitement approprié est appliqué. Si un permis d’importation est requis, utilise le programme électronique en ligne pour obtenir les renseignements nécessaires. SAISIE DE DONNÉES S’assure que toutes les déclarations sont correctement saisies au niveau de la mainlevée sur documentation minimale (RMD) pour les autres ministères gouvernementaux (OGD) tels que l’ACIA, Ressources naturelles et le ministère des Transports. Prépare les déclarations sur ACROSS et occasionnellement sur papier, ce qui inclut également la recherche de codes AIRS pour l’ACIA, les Y-50 et les déclarations volontaires. Met à jour les bases de données 1Source et FXG Hit List avec les renseignements relatifs au dédouanement et aux clients. MAINLEVÉE DES EXPÉDITIONS Vérifie que les expéditions sont libérées par les douanes et informe les clients de l’état des expéditions au besoin. Saisit les données des expéditions dans le système informatique, obtient la mainlevée de crédit et s’assure que la déclaration est transmise aux douanes. Veille à ce que l’option 161 (rejets) soit vérifiée régulièrement tout au long de la journée. DÉCLARATION Remplit et soumet le rapport CADEX, les rejets CADEX des jours 5, 4, 3 aux douanes, et vérifie les rapports CADEX des jours 4 et 5 pour s’assurer qu’ils sont complétés à temps. Communique avec les services internes pour obtenir les permis requis. Accomplit toute autre tâche assignée par le gestionnaire. EXIGENCES Diplôme d’études secondaires et 2 ans d’études collégiales requis. Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en tant qu’analyste de mainlevée avec une désignation de Spécialiste Certifié en Douanes. Ce poste exige une maîtrise du français et de l’anglais en raison de la nature du rôle. Les candidats doivent être bilingues (français et anglais) ou démontrer un engagement à acquérir cette maîtrise dans un délai de six (6) mois suivant leur date d’embauche. Connaissance avancée de MS Office, Outlook, et de l’équipement de bureau (télécopieurs, photocopieurs, imprimantes, numériseurs). La connaissance du système AS 400 serait un atout. Excellentes compétences en communication, organisation et relations interpersonnelles. Ce poste exige une saisie continue au clavier et une communication régulière avec les clients, les ministères gouvernementaux et les employés internes via téléphone, télécopieur et courriel. Total Base Pay Range - $43,338.00 - $67,715.00 CAD Annual TARIFF CLASSIFICATION - Obtains correct HS classification of goods for customs release from database, tariff book, internet or customer - Verifies tariff treatment at B-3 level to determine if proper tariff treatment is applied. If an import permit is required, uses the electronic internet program to obtain the necessary information DATA ENTRY - Ensures all entries are properly entered at Release on Minimum Documentation Duplicated (RMD) level for Other Government Departments (OGD) such as CFIA, Natural Resources & Ministry of Transport - Sets up entries on ACROSS and occasionally on paper which also includes seeking AIRS codes for CFIA, Y-50’s and Voluntary entries - Updates 1Source and FXG Hit list databases with clearance and client information SHIPMENT RELEASE - Verifies that shipments are Customs released & advises clients of shipment status when necessary - Enters shipment data into computer system, obtains credit release and ensures entry is transmitted to customs - Ensures that option 161 (rejects) are checked throughout the day on a regular basis REPORTING - Completes and submits CADEX report, CADEX rejects day 5, 4, 3 to customs and checks CADEX report for day 4 & 5 entries to ensure completion on time - Communicates with internal departments to obtain required permits - Performs any other duties as advised by Manager - High School Diploma and 2 years of College required - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Release Analyst with a Certified Customs Specialist Designation - This position requires proficiency in both French and English due to the nature of the role. Candidates must be bilingual (French and English) or demonstrate a commitment to acquire proficiency within six (6) months of their hire date. - Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, office equipment (fax machine/ photocopiers / printers / scanners).
