Job Description Principal Solution Designer Build the Future with Us Are you passionate about designing innovative technology solutions and eager to help shape the digital future of a leading organization? As a Principal Solution Designer, you will play a strategic role in the design and evolution of robust, secure, and scalable technology solutions within a hybrid environment that includes APIs, .NET, Salesforce, cloud platforms, and on-premises technologies. Working closely with architects, development teams, product leaders, and business stakeholders, you will transform technology strategies into practical solutions that create business value and support organizational objectives. What You Will Accomplish with Us As a Principal Solution Designer, you will: Design application solutions within complex, integrated, and hybrid technology environments. Analyze business requirements and assess impacts to recommend scalable and sustainable solutions. Incorporate security, performance, maintainability, and operational requirements into solution designs from the outset. Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to translate technology roadmaps and architectural guidelines into implementable solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert on software engineering best practices, Developer Experience (DevX), and DevSecOps. Guide and mentor teams to promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Contribute to the standardization of design, development, and delivery practices across the organization. Support modernization and technology transformation initiatives while leveraging emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role We are looking for someone who: Has significant experience designing enterprise application solutions in a senior, principal, or equivalent role. Possesses a strong understanding of complex, integrated, and hybrid technology ecosystems. Demonstrates strong collaboration and stakeholder influence skills in multidisciplinary environments. Excels at impact analysis, solution design documentation, and technical decision-making. Has a passion for continuous improvement, software quality, and modern engineering practices. Is able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Has experience with technologies such as APIs, .NET, Salesforce, cloud platforms, and on-premises solutions. Thrives in modernization and digital transformation environments. Demonstrates autonomy, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Has a strong interest in using Artificial Intelligence as a catalyst for innovation and efficiency. Preferred Knowledge and Skills Strong knowledge of software engineering, Developer Experience (DevX), and DevSecOps practices. Experience in detailed solution design, systems integration, impact analysis, and technical documentation. Understanding of software quality principles, application security, and non-functional requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities. Intermediate proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required as the successful candidate will regularly communicate with technology vendors, consult specialized documentation, and use various tools that are primarily available in English. Advanced proficiency in French (spoken and written) is required, as the successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively with French-speaking colleagues, business partners, and stakeholders, produce high-quality documentation, facilitate discussions, and support initiatives conducted primarily in French on a regular basis.
