Job Description
RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
Department / Research Program: MGH MRI Research Platform
The Platform Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the research platform. They collaborate with researchers, research teams, and medical imaging technologists to assume responsibility for coordinating the Platform's various studies and projects.
General Duties
Ensures effective communication between research teams, Platform staff, and the management team, Assists in the planning and organization of research projects, Informs staff about research projects, Organizes and maintains documentation, Handles invoicing and payment tracking, Performs other duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Biomedical engineering or relevant scientific field.
Other education considered an asset for this position: A Master’s degree is an asset

Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of written French is required. An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English. Autonomous, flexible, sense of ethics and good judgment, Excellent organizational, time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritizing time sensitive issues, Excellent interpersonal skills, Ability to work under minimal supervision, Ability to generate and maintain accurate records, Strong analytical and problem solving skills, Scientific research experience is an asset
Additional information
Status : Temporary Part-Time
Pay Scale: 24.40$ - 45.29$ per hour. Commensurate with education and work expérience.
Work Shift: Other or part-time
Other: Approximately 2 to 3 hours daily on weekdays
Work Site: MGH, 1650 Cedar Ave.
☒ This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote).
Additional specifications: This is a maternity leave replacement position.
