We are looking for a Senior Telecommunications Design Engineer to join our Rail & Metro team in the UAE, where you'll play a key role in designing and delivering world-class railway telecommunications systems for landmark infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of railway telecommunications systems across all project phases. Design and coordinate systems including Fiber Optic Backbone (FOBN), Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), IP/MPLS & Transmission Networks, CCTV, Public Address (PA), Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), Access Control Systems (ACS), Radio Communications (TETRA/LTE/GSM-R), Telephone, Master Clock, Intercom, and Data Networks. Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, and BOQs. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Signaling, Power, MEP, Civil, Track, and Architecture. Review contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material approvals. Support construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 10–12+ years of overall engineering experience. 7–8+ years of mandatory Rail & Metro experience. Proven experience in the design and delivery of railway telecommunications systems. Strong knowledge of international railway standards and telecom systems integration. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary railway infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit/Navisworks is an advantage. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with international engineering consultancies. Familiarity with GCC railway standards and project requirements. Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and system integration.
