Estate Foreman / Working Property Manager

Location: Montreal, QC / Montebello, QC

Compensation: Up to $90,000 Base Salary, Performance Bonuses, Company Vehicle & Gas Provided

About Us

Y Estates is seeking a hands-on Estate Foreman to oversee the maintenance, operations, and improvement of a portfolio of private estate properties, including waterfront, farm, and residential properties. This is an active leadership role for someone who enjoys managing projects, and leading by example.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a working foreman—not a traditional property manager. Approximately 75% of your time will be spent on-site performing hands-on work alongside the maintenance crew, with the remaining time dedicated to planning projects, coordinating contractors, and managing ongoing improvements. Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of multiple estate properties. Perform hands-on landscaping, maintenance, repairs, and general property upkeep. Lead and manage the on-site maintenance crew. Coordinate renovation and construction projects. Schedule and supervise contractors for specialized trades when required. Ensure all properties, buildings, and grounds are maintained to a high standard.

Prioritize maintenance projects, source materials, and coordinate ongoing

improvements.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Experience in construction, property maintenance, landscaping, or general contracting. Previous experience leading crews or working as a foreman or site supervisor. Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work daily. Strong project coordination and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects while working independently. Valid driver's license.
