About the role
Job Summary Provide front-line customer service and support to clients of financial institutions. Assist with account inquiries, transactions, and product information while maintaining confidentiality. Number of Positions 4 Main Duties Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information and assistance. Process account transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments according to procedures. Open, update and close customer accounts, ensuring required documentation is complete and accurate. Identify and resolve customer concerns and escalations, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary. Provide information on financial products and services and refer customers to specialists for advanced needs. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in banking systems and update client files. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary certificate or diploma in business, finance, or a related field is an asset. Minimum one year of customer service experience; experience in financial services preferred. Working knowledge of common banking products, account services and transaction processing. Proficiency with office software and the ability to learn proprietary banking systems and applications. Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential client information professionally.
