As a Service Writer, you'll be the key link between our customers, Service Technicians, and Parts team—ensuring repairs stay on track and every customer receives an exceptional service experience.
Now Hiring: We are currently seeking a Service Writer to join the team at our Walton, ON location!
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a central role in the day-to-day operations of our Service Department, coordinating repairs from start to finish while providing outstanding customer service. Your day-to-day will include:
Greeting customers and scheduling service appointments Creating, updating, and closing work orders accurately Coordinating communication between customers, Service Technicians, and the Parts Department Monitoring repair progress and providing customers with timely updates Supporting technician scheduling and helping prioritize workflow Processing invoices, payments, and following up on outstanding accounts Assisting with warranty administration and end-of-warranty communications Maintaining accurate customer records and service documentation Supporting month-end administrative processes Contributing to a clean, organized, and professional Service Department
What Makes You a Great Fit
1–2 years of experience in customer service, administration, service coordination, or a similar role Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Comfortable working with technology, Microsoft 365, and dealership or business management systems Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities A positive, professional attitude and commitment to customer service Agricultural, construction, automotive, or equipment industry experience is an asset
