We have a current opening for a Finance Intern and are actively reviewing applications. Are you looking to jumpstart your career in Sweet Packaged Foods? Then our Early Career Program (ECP) may be the program for you! We are looking for highly motivated individuals, who currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or a recent graduate in Finance, Business or Accounting, to join our Canada Commercial Early Career Program. The Ferrero Early Career Internship program is designed to let participants explore Ferrero while putting their skills to work. Working at Ferrero early in your career is a unique and challenging experience, and we often have permanent placements after the program. Even more importantly, our Early Career program can help participants understand where they want to focus their talent and take the first step towards a career at Ferrero. The Ferrero Early Career Program provides participants with the technical and leadership skills they will need to build a successful career within Ferrero. This program will support participants in understanding the "Ferrero Way" and how Finance, Marketing, Trade Marketing & Sales concepts are applied in the CPG industry. Over the course of the program, participants will attend a variety of training courses and programs that will set them up for success in future roles. These include but are not limited to:
New Hire Orientation E-Learning Plant Tour Store Visit A business project specific to the function that will be presented to the Leadership Team at the end of the program Onsite work experience within Sales, Marketing & Trade Marketing Soft skills training (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Presentation Delivery Skills)
Throughout the program, they will receive support from a mentor to help them understand their strengths and weaknesses, plan their development, and help them build up the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare them for their career. In addition, their mentor will also conduct performance evaluations outlining their areas of development for future success. At Ferrero, we value entrepreneurship, therefore, participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a local business project within their assigned function and to present their findings to management. Once the ECP has been successfully completed and providing availability, the participant will be placed in a specific field of expertise which will further develop their skills in their area of specialization. This position is 8-months (September 2026 - April 2027), hybrid, and will be based in our Canadian offices in North York, ON.Main Responsibilities: A&P (Advertising & Promotion) Finance
Support the tracking and management of A&P spend across brands and categories, gaining exposure to how marketing investments are managed in a global organization Analyze actual vs. budget performance and help translate variances into clear, actionable insights Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entry preparation Identify opportunities to improve and automate A&P tracking and reporting processes
Category & Sales Finance
Support the preparation and maintenance of product and SKU-level Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis Analyze category and customer performance, identifying key trends and business drivers
Reporting & Insights
Assist in the preparation of recurring financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the broader Finance team About You: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (or recent graduate) Strong foundation in financial concepts (e.g., financial statements, basic accounting principles, budgeting/forecasting) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis); familiarity with PowerPoint for presentations Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify insights High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and meeting deadlines Clear and professional communication skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders Proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong desire to learn and apply financial concepts in a business setting Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
