THE ROLE This is a full-time role within the social media team. In this role, you will report to the Director, Social Media, working closely with the social media and marketing teams. Your work will support venue marketing, communications, and event marketing initiatives ranging from clubs to stadium-level concerts across Canada. You will be part of the team responsible for day-to-day social publishing, content creation, community management, and night-of-show social coverage. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Execute organic social media publishing across multiple social channels, ensuring content is accurate, approved, and aligned with brand standards Support the planning, coordination, and execution of social content across venues, events, festivals, and brand campaigns Capture, create, edit, and publish content for concerts, events, venues, and festivals, including during evenings and weekends Coordinate and maintain content calendars, scheduling content, and managing publishing timelines across multiple platforms Write social copy and pair content with creative assets for a variety of venue brands, event types, audiences, and social channels Proofread copy and review creative assets to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency before publishing Create and adapt social media assets using approved templates, photography, video, and graphic elements Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, and customer inquiries, responding where appropriate and escalating issues as needed Provide real-time social support during events, including content capture, posting, audience engagement, and issue escalation Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Director to execute content plans for key venues, events, and campaigns Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats relevant to Live Nation Canada's channels Maintain organization across shared calendars, project management platforms, content trackers, and team documentation Create and refine reporting and analytics frameworks, establishing key metrics and KPIs to monitor trends, assess results, and drive continuous improvement Work within social listening platforms and analytics tools to deliver reporting on audience feedback, market trends, and sentiment data Assist with designing and formatting polished presentation decks for meetings, pitches, and project reporting Support special projects and perform other related duties as assigned WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING 1–2 years of experience working with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging platforms While this is a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM in-office role, availability to work evenings and weekends is required to support concerts, festivals, and live events Experience with Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, Sprout Social, Canva, Pulsar, Powerpoint and similar workplace tools is considered an asset Basic graphic design and social video editing skills, including resizing, adapting, and editing assets for social media platforms and presentation decks Strong written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across different brands and audiences A passion for live entertainment, music, events, marketing, and social media Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work A creative mindset with a willingness to learn, contribute ideas, and take initiative A positive, collaborative attitude with professionalism, integrity, and discretion Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, high-volume environment BENEFITS & PERKS Our motto is ‘Taking Care of Our Own’ through 6 pillars of benefits: HEALTH: Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for you and your family, along with Employee Assistant Programs through Modern Health and ComPsych YOURSELF: Generous paid time off policy including holiday closures, and sick time for you and dependents, along with free concert tickets WEALTH: RRSP program with company match, Stock Program Reimbursement FAMILY: New parent programs & support including caregiver leave and baby bonus, and infertility support CAREER: Tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment internal growth and development programs & trainings OTHERS: Volunteer time off, crowdfunding network, gender reassignment support We thank all candidates for their interest, only those who will be selected for an interview will be contacted. -- The expected compensation in British Columbia is: $62,000-65,000 Physical Requirements/Work Environment Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
