Job Title: Operative IBMS Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days WFO) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 50-55/hour Incorporated Application Deadline: August 30th, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for the Operative IBMS platform in a helpdesk environment. Troubleshoot issues across scheduling, ad sales, traffic, and billing modules. Manage incidents, service requests, and user queries using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA. Perform SQL-based database troubleshooting, data validation, and issue resolution. Investigate system integration issues, data inconsistencies, and perform root cause analysis (RCA). Support user access management, system configurations, and minor application enhancements. Ensure SLA compliance while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. Partner with Sales, Traffic, Finance, and IT teams to resolve functional and technical issues.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with the Operative IBMS (BMS) platform. Solid understanding of broadcast/media workflows, including scheduling, ad sales, traffic, and billing. Strong SQL skills with experience in database troubleshooting (mandatory). Experience providing application/helpdesk or end-user support in a production environment. Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ITSM/ticketing tools. Knowledge of system integrations, reporting tools, and data validation. Understanding of infrastructure/EUC environments (VDI, VPN, etc.). Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
