About the role
- As the Finance & Accounting Intern, you will work closely with the finance & accounting team to maintain data integrity in our ERP (NetSuite), participate in monthly/annual close processes, maintain SOPs, and perform financial analysis
- This intern role is centered around supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, helping the business make data empowered decisions and being the front-line point of contact for our suppliers
- Actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes, assisting with preparation of journal entries, maintenance of proper supporting documentation. and the preparation of financial statements, reports and variance analysis
- Perform credit card and bank reconciliations, reviewing for policy compliance
- Maintain finance procedures and related process documents
- Contribute to a team effort and undertakes other special projects as requested

- Strong communicator: oral, written, interpersonal
- Work out of our new Toronto office (24 Ward Street) at least 4 days per week
- Available for a full-time internship beginning September 2026 for at least 8 months
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superb Microsoft Office skills; specifically Excel & PowerPoint
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
- Working towards all necessary prerequisites for admission into the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), Professional Education Program (PEP)
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Very high attention to detail and strong customer service skills
- A growth mindset, self-motivated and excited to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous accounting related office experience is an asset
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred) or similar program
