Interdisciplinary team of scientists who integrate SCUBA diving as a core methodological approach in marine research. We operate across a wide spectrum of aquatic environments, spanning multiple ocean basins, with a primary focus on the biodiversity of hard-bottom benthic assemblages and their responses to environmental change.

A defining strength of the group is its expertise in cold-water diving. We have maintained a continuous research presence in Spitsbergen since 1997, conducting long-term observational and experimental studies in Arctic coastal systems. Our work involves technically demanding operations, including under-ice diving, polar night deployments, and extended Antarctic expeditions.
