Purpose:
Working in the Ophthalmology clinic, the Ophthalmic Technician completes diagnostic testing, triage of patients, and other clerical duties.

Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic testing for extremely fast-paced ophthalmology clinic; this involves highly technical equipment and requires extensive on-the-job training.
- Visual fields, OCT, Fundus camera, Biometry
- Triage
- Filling doctor's rooms with patients
- Clerical duties
Qualifications:

Experience working in a healthcare facility required

Experience working with older adults preferred
-
Experience handling private information
-
Willing to travel and work between multiple clinic locations

Experience working with Electronic Medical Records required
SKILLS:
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- OA, COA, COT, COMT are welcome
- Ability to communicate effectively required
- Respect for patient privacy
