InterRent REIT is seeking two (2) Property Cleaners to join our operations team at our newly developed residential community at 360 Laurier. This hands-on role is ideal for a reliable cleaning professional with a customer-first mindset who is committed to helping create and maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces for our residents.

Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities typically expected of a cleaning professional, responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
• Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
• Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.
• Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
• Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
• Perform daily inspections of common areas and report any maintenance issues to the property operations team.
• Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications

• Friendly, respectable, and community minded, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Previous cleaning experience considered an asset, but is not required.
• Comfortable working both independently and part of a team.
• Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Basic English verbal communication skills are required.
• Successful completion of a criminal record check.
• Ability to provide professional references and proven record of reliable work attendance.

Additional Information

• All work will be completed on-site at 360 Laurier West, near the corner of Laurier and Bank.
• Ability to respond to emergencies during regular operating hours.
• Participation in an after-hours rotational emergency response team may be required.

Final compensation for this role will be determined based on the successful candidates’ skills, experience, and other job-related requirements.
