Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling products, and treatments to enhance client results.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
• Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training sessions.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to upsell retail products naturally during consultations to enhance client experience.
• Excellent communication skills for understanding client needs and providing professional advice.
• Experience with retail sales processes and front desk operations is preferred.
