Job Overview

Assemble and pack a variety of products as directed.

A Day In The Life

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure pulled parts for specific assemblies agree with Bill of Material

• Prepares sub assemblies as necessary

• Assemble using pneumatic and mechanical presses, Hubbell drivers, electric grinder, wire strippers, air drivers, rivet guns, router, laser, wire cutting/stripping machines, etc.

• Performs ongoing visual inspection

• Test finished product

• Repairs to faulty assembly

• Product upgrade / conversion

• Prepares packing material

• Packages finished product and transports to Holding Area

• Cleanup of workstation

• Other duties related to assembly functions

• Work in compliance with SOP’s / ISO, PIP (Partners in Protection) and Safety Programs

• Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions

• Work well with others

• Good housekeeping skills

• Continual standing and lifting

• Ability to do some heavy lifting

• Basic mathematics

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Valid equipment operating licenses will be required for Tow Motors and Man-up Order Picker or any additional equipment purchased by Hubbell

The expected hourly rate for this position is $22.58 per hour. Please note this range reflects base hourly rate only.Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.
