Jardeg is recruiting for Carpenter Apprentices for upcoming work at the Cameco site near Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, the world's largest high-grade uranium mine and mill. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 7 days off. This is a fly-in, fly-out position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with building forms for concrete
Assist with forming and pouring concrete slabs, gradebeams and walls Assist with general layout Build and install scaffolding and workdecks Study blueprints for work planning Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup Perform labourer duties when required
Minimum Requirements
Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority CSTS-2020 / SCOT WHMIS 2015 Fall Protection is an asset Valid Driver's License Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
