About the role
Dawson Civilis looking to hire Crew Transport Drivers to assist with our shuttling needs.
In this role you will be a valued member ofDawson Civil,working in a temporary, full-time position ofCrew Transport Driver, reporting to theSuperintendent. The crew will be on varying day and night shifts on a rotational schedule of 14/7. Your base location will bePrinceton, BC. and will require some travel throughout our great province.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Prioritize safety at all times by driving defensively and staying alert to road, weather, and traffic conditions
- Maintain a professional and respectful environment for all passengers
- Be dependable, punctual, and flexible to accommodate shift changes or delays
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any issues to the supervisors
- Accurately complete daily driver logs, trip records, and fueling reports
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedule changes, delays, or incidents
WHAT YOU BRING
- Valid Class 1, 2 or 4 driver’s license
- Clean driving record and strong commitment to safe driving practices
- Experience driving passengers (shuttle, bus, or van) is an asset
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and ability to operate in varying weather and road conditions
- First Aid certification is an asset
- Strong reliability, time management, and organizational skills
- Clear verbal communication skills and basic written reporting ability
- Ability to work flexible hours
