About the role
West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field! Must be willing to drive within the Denver area. The Field MA is responsible for administering misting therapy to patients in their respective homes 5 days a week, as well as materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and coordinating skin sweeps one day per week. Essential Job Functions Perform misting therapy on wound patients Order medical supplies Scribe for respective doctors Prepare patients for procedures Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients Coordinate skin sweep scheduling Scribe for skin sweeps Make initial assessment calls Qualifications Valid MA Certification 1–2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills Strong awareness of medical terminology Strong desire for patient care Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm Pay: $22/hr | Full-Time Work Location: On the road
