Position Responsibilities
The Donald School of Business is seeking a Full Time Probationary Continuous Legal Assistant Instructor commencing August 5, 2026.
Responsibilities of Full-Time Faculty at the Donald School of Business include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering courses congruent with established course curricula and program outcomes
- Supporting the success of students with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds and learning styles
- Assessing student learning in ways that both facilitate learning and ensure achievement against appropriate academic standards
- Inspiring students by exhibiting enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and subject material
- Contributing to course and program curriculum development and renewal
- Engaging in scholarly activity within the domains of Ernest Boyer’s model: scholarship of discovery, application, integration, and teaching
- Working collegially within department, School, or Institution committees and project teams

Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate Degree in relevant discipline (i.e. Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor, Criminal Justice); or, a combination of a Baccalaureate Degree with extensive professional experience as a Legal Assistant or working in a law office

Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
Preferred Qualifications

A related Graduate Degree (MBA or LLM) or additional Baccalaureate Degree related to Business Administration.
