About the role
Job Summary Supervise daily operations of food service areas to ensure efficient, high-quality customer service. Coordinate staff and maintain standards for service, safety, and presentation. Number of Positions 10 Main Duties Supervise and coordinate front- and back-of-house staff during shifts to ensure timely and consistent service. Prepare and adjust staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor employee performance. Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace health standards through regular inspections and corrective actions. Monitor food quality and presentation; handle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly. Manage inventory, receive deliveries, track stock levels, and control waste to support cost management. Train, coach, and evaluate team members; support onboarding and professional development efforts. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in hospitality or culinary arts is an asset. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service with supervisory or lead responsibilities. Demonstrated knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations. Ability to read and complete operational records, including temperature logs and incident reports. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physically able to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks, and lift moderate loads as required.
