The Impact you will have:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, collaborating with hiring managers on a regular basis to proactively identify future hiring needs and ensuring that VC3 staffing needs are met. You will attract candidates through various sources, such as social media networks, educational institutions and employee referrals. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring VC3 attracts and hires good fit employees who align with our culture and values, while also growing a strong talent pipeline.
In order to ensure an exceptional result, you will need to have a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities our customers face and how our teams as a whole combine to deliver our promise. Providing services in a proactive, professional manner while ensuring key parties are kept informed and driving recruitment activity is critical. We are a data driven company and analysis for decision making and overall strategy is ongoing.
What you will be doing:
- Ownership of full cycle recruitment including:
o Prepare job descriptions and design job postings to successfully attract candidates
o Post job advertisements
o Source/Recruit and headhunt candidates
o Review resumes and shortlist for video prescreening process
o Video prescreen and forward appropriate resumes to hiring managers
o Participate in interview process, analyze suitability and make recommendations for pursuing candidates
o Assess candidates’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, aptitudes and fit to culture & values
o Debrief with hiring managers and drive recruitment activity to fill roles within required timeframes
o Accurately prepare offer letter and welcome documents
o Maintain regular contact with hiring managers
o Work closely with hiring managers on the recruitment strategy for each position
o Provide regular recruitment reports to hiring manager

Monitor and apply recruiting best practices

Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process

Additional duties as required
The tools you bring:
Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter

Strong proficiency with AI, LinkedIn, Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Microsoft Office Tools

Comfortable in a fast-moving environment, flexible to change, independent and highly self-motivated

Strong attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening skills and a clear and open communication style. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and drive results.
