POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you an organized, collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated Centre Administrator to support the daily operations of one of our Childventures campuses. As the first point of contact for families and a key member of our administrative team, you will help ensure that the centre runs smoothly, meets all compliance standards, and delivers an exceptional experience for children, families, and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome families and visitors, respond to inquiries, and manage phone/email communication
- Coordinate enrolment and onboarding of new families, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and compliance
- Liaise with Finance and Enrolment teams on changes, documentation, and monthly subsidy submissions
- Track allowable absence days and communicate with subsidy services as required
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, manage invoices, and oversee centre signage and communication materials
- Process and submit expense reports in accordance with organizational guidelines
- Support compliance with CCEYA and internal policies through accurate reporting and documentation (e.g. OCCMS, Kindertales)
- Collaborate with centre leadership to manage medical/anaphylaxis plans and other administrative needs
- Maintain team records and tools (e.g., staff schedules, access systems)
- Attend meetings and assist with operational planning and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in childcare, education, or healthcare
- Strong computer and data entry skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Kindertales, OCCMS, or similar systems is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with accounting or budgeting procedures an asset
MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS
- 2 Step TB
- Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C- Within 3 months of hire
