Inc. specializes in designing and fabricating tooling of any kind for thermoforming machines, including brands such as Repak, Multivac, and VC999. Role Description The CNC and Manual Machinist is a full-time, on-site role based in Saint-Eustache, QC. The person in this role will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts and tooling for processing, packaging, and thermoforming equipment. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials and tools, performing machining operations such as milling and turning, and monitoring machines during production. The CNC and Manual Machinist will inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, make adjustments to programs or setups as needed, and collaborate with the design and fabrication teams to improve machining processes and support custom tooling projects. Routine maintenance of machinery and adherence to safety standards are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC and manual equipment. Strong Machining and Milling skills for producing precise components and tooling. Experience with Quality Control practices, including measurement, inspection, and documentation of parts. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using basic shop math and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Previous experience as a CNC machinist, manual machinist, or toolmaker in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of tooling design concepts and familiarity with thermoforming or packaging machinery is an asset. Ability to work safely, maintain equipment, and follow established production procedures. Relevant vocational training or certification in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field preferred.
