The Radiation Therapist I reports to the Provincial Leader or Site Manager of Radiation Therapy with daily work functions supervised by a Radiation Therapist II.QUALIFICATIONS:Education:- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy- Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-CMemberships:- Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)- Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)Experience:- No previous experienceSkills:- Proficiency with a variety of computer systems and software applications.- Ability to perform a range of Radiation Therapy methods and processes including treatment planning, simulation and treatment.- Moderate judgment and problem solving skills are required to select the most appropriate action from a variety of alternatives.- Ability to interpret detailed information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.- Human relations skills are required to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature to assist others in achieving their short or long term goals.- Accuracy of fine motor movements required for operatin...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
