Unify Health Cardiac Diagnostics Clinic in Sault Ste. Marie is a new cardiology opening up to support the Sault Ste. Marie community by providing improved access to cardiac diagnostics and cardiology care. Our clinic offers echocardiograms (with contrast), Holter monitoring (24 hours to 2 weeks), ECG, and cardiology consultation.

Role Description

This is a full time, part-time or casual on-site role for a Certified Cardiac Sonographer located in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. The Certified Cardiac Sonographer will perform non-invasive cardiac procedures, including echocardiograms, and ensure accurate diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities also include preparing reports for physicians, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

Proficiency in performing 2D echo with and without contrast (Definity) Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred Ability to place IV for contrast and bubble studies is an asset Experience with Philips echo machine is an asset

Our clinic is located in the YMCA in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (235 McNabb St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6B 1Y3) We have free parking with a clean, comfortable clinic environment with brand new equipment, where you will collaborate with cardiologists and other technicians.
