Web Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging, user-friendly websites and digital interfaces that align with our brand identity and business goals. This role requires a strong foundation in both visual design and front-end development, with an emphasis on creating seamless user experiences across various platforms. The Web Designer will collaborate closely with developers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver visually compelling and technically sound digital solutions.

Duties

• Develop and implement website layouts, visual elements, and interactive features using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, and InVision.
• Create compelling graphic designs, logos, motion graphics, and visual content that enhance user engagement.
• Design responsive websites utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other front-end technologies.
• Optimize websites for SEO best practices and ensure web accessibility standards are met.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve website functionality and user experience (UX/UI).
• Maintain and update existing websites using WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint, or custom CMS solutions.
• Collaborate on information architecture and wireframing to ensure intuitive navigation and layout.
• Implement website analytics using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools to monitor performance metrics.
• Assist in digital marketing efforts through email marketing campaigns with Mailchimp or similar platforms.
• Ensure website security, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance for a seamless user experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing web projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (AJAX, jQuery), PHP, SQL/MySQL databases.
• Experience working with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, React, Node.js.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Data analysis skills using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to enhance user experience (UX).
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing using Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
