POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Apprentice to join our team on projects around the Swift Current area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience on commercial sites and is willing to work out of town during the week as required.Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-10 hours a day WHAT WE OFFER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain good customer relations with site personnel and customers

• Comply with Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual

• Adhere to the Company and the customers policies and procedures as they apply to each project

• Ensure project safety policies are followed at all times

• Responsible for efficient use of materials, equipment, and performance of all field related activities for each tasks/project

• Ensure field work is executed in compliance with instructions given

• Be able to take directions and be receptive to training and mentoring

• Apply yourself to learn and comprehend drawings and specifications

• Proficient tool usage, both personal and supplied

• Work with multiple types of installations

• Attend daily/weekly site meetings and all training required

• Maintain clean driving abstract and Drug and Alcohol clearance

• Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers and co-workers during all contact, displaying positive behaviour, attitude, and workmanship habits in a respectful and empathetic way

• Follow the direction of your supervisor in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations

• Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 2nd –4th Year Electrical Apprentice, or completion of an Electrical Pre-Employment program combined with relevant hands-on experience.
• Current Fall Arrest and EWP Certificates
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull
• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Clear and maintain a clean driving and drug and alcohol clearance
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
