Georgetown Volkswagen is looking for a Parts Driver!

Job Duties:

The Parts Driver is responsible for transporting automotive parts, supplies, and materials between the dealership, customers, and vendors. Their main duties include:

Main Job Duties

• Pickup & Delivery: Transport automotive parts, supplies, and equipment between the dealership, customers, and vendors promptly and safely.
• Order Verification: Ensure that all deliveries and pickups match invoices and purchase orders.
• Inventory Management: Assist in checking and organizing stock when receiving or delivering parts.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and vendors.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition; report any maintenance needs.
• Route Planning: Follow the most efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and dealership policies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery.
• Assistance in Parts Department: Help with stocking, organizing, and pulling parts for orders when not on deliveries.
• Other duties as requested by management

• Customer relationship skills including listening and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
• Organized and pays attention to detail.
• Ability to follow set and standard procedures.
• Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed.
• Ability to work independently and take self-initiative
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
